1. six flags fright fest
if you can survive zombie attacks at fright fest, you can survive anything!
it was a fun time... but mostly because of the humans i went with--zombies don't make good friends :p
2. snowpocaplyse part 2 a.k.a. hurricane sandy a.k.a. "hurrication" (hurricane + vacation)
the storm last week reminded us that, though we live in our own little untouchable university bubble, others are affected… my parents just got their power back today! and many houses and the infamous jersey shore have been devastated. if you missed our post about our sandy shenanigans you can check it out here!
3. sashpocalypse = the south asian students' culture show
the emcees referenced zombie invasions every few minutes and took us on a cultural tour of indian music and dance before it was too late.
4. pirates of the caribbean: at world's end
in between performances, we chatted about movies we loved and hated. and we unanimously agreed on the sequel rule: the first movie in a series is always, by far, the best. this movie is no exception and cannot compare to the black pearl, but it's entertaining and ominously apocalyptic in name (though not actually). maybe the franchise should be at its end...
but who doesn't love this power combo?
5. end of the world humor
this comic gets me every time!

6. end of the world music!
it's the end of the world as we know it (and i feel fine) by r.e.m.--always a classic!
and when the world ends by the dave matthews band
now, when the world is dissolving (or exploding) around us, we'll at least have some good music to listen to on our way out... :D
now if only we could get to 2012 comments... hint hint! ;)
but seriously, we are so appreciative of your support!
