friday ritual

sometimes inspirations happen on a regular basis. take, for instance, the weekly starbucks runs we've taken since the beginning of our freshmen year. we like to treat ourselves after a hard week of classes, though it involves getting out of the apartment an hour earlier than normal. our drinks of choice? americano with 2%, soy chai latte, and coffee with splenda (all in personal cups, of course!).

we're proud of our matching to-go cups, a gift from a friend! on another note, what better way to display our everyday mugs than a mug tree? there is no better way. because mug trees are pure genius. totally worth the investment (crate&barrel ain't cheap...).

and just to confirm this inspiration, our gold member status. the requirements were pretty ridiculous, but we had fun accruing our stars throughout freshmen year, and catching up to Lauren (cardholder since 2008!). you'd think weekly visits ordering the same drinks would warrant some recognition from the baristas, but no cigar. maybe that will be a goal this year... :)
