summer is the best time to explore our city. as previously mentioned, it is hard to get out from under the oppressive hand (although we try as much as we can!). in any case, we have been checking out restaurants that are known in the area and ones that we have always wanted to go to. upon coming back to the 607, i found out about "taco tuesday". the gang has been going out and about looking for this wonderful special at various restaurants. this week we hit up loco hombre. however, due to a fluke in the system we did not obtain our $2 tacos. instead we came closer to home and ate some $1 tacos at pj's pub.

this week we were also able to go to the brewer's art. after stalking the tables we snagged a cozy corner with dim lighting. items that were ordered included the pork schnitzel sandwich, the cheeseburger, mixed green salad, and the curried rabbit pâté. and man were those rosemary fries delicious!
