hayley and i have wanted to go see the perks of being a wallflower for a while now and after finding out that it was playing in a theater near us, we wanted to watch it before it stopped showing. despite the homework (and an exam for a couple of us), we had a girls day out with two other friends. we ended up going to the charles for a matinee and then sofi's crepes for dinner.

i hadn't read the book, but i did read a spread in nylon and got each actor's perspective on their characters. beyond that, i wasn't sure what to expect. i also have to admit that i got a bit teary eyed at various parts, but the ending made it all come together. i don't want to spoil it so i guess you'll just have to go see it yourself.

and anyway, who doesn't love emma watson and logan lerman?  :)
