my friend (who actually introduced me to his music) and i will be seeing conor oberst in new york citayyyy. we already saw him on a bright eyes tour in zurich two summers ago, but hey, we can't get enough of him! an amazing musician, he has worked on 5 different projects: bright eyes, conor oberst and the mystic valley band, desaparecidos, monsters of folk, and himself as a solo artist. check out my faves from each of these collaborations:

we were front row and center at his show in zurich and it was the most amazing experience (i touched his hand ahh!). as he sang this song, the whole crowd was in a trance.

i think conor (yes, we are on a first name basis) is pretty cute, but with the long hair in this video...not so much. also, beginning remind you of a christmas song?
