happy 21st, hayley!

this post is longggg overdue, but... happy birthday hayley! surprise! after much scheming and sneaking, we pulled off the most pumpkin-filled birthday celebration possible!

first step: baking in secret
when hayley hit the shower, emily & i divided & conquered, grabbing all of our baking supplies. then i crashed emily's monitor shift and commandeered the kitchen.

second step: pumpkin cake pops
think of them as a pumpkin pancake crumbled & mixed with icing... then dipped in chocolate and pecans

third step: balloons

fourth step: venti + 1 pumpkin spice latte
while hayley was in the bathroom (sensing a pattern here?), i snuck out & down the street to starbucks. i covered a coffee sleeve & decorated it with birthday wishes!

fifth step: decorations
hayley loves chevrons & pendants... so with the help of our friend becca's craft supplies, i made a set of  orange (her favorite color) & pink birthday pendants with triangle construction paper & embroidery floss.

sixth step: surprise!!!
we left her speechless!

happy belated, hayley!
