i kind of missed the boat last week (i just wasn't very inspired clothes-wise) so i have decided to do two outfit posts this week! i got these shorts in the beginning of the summer, but have only worn them a few times. for the top, i usually wore a bright tank or something with a pattern similar to that of the shorts. however, friday morning was a struggs trying to find a top to go with them. with the help of a stylist (aka lauren), i was able to pair these white (yes, it is after labor day) shorts with a dark purple shirt.

why i love these shorts:
- they are the perfect length and not too tight so i feel comfortable and loose all day, errday
- white shorts always look crisp and neat (even if you decide to wear a casual top)
- the pattern of course!
