no regs

in the beginning of the year, we decided to make goals for ourselves. in order to keep us to them, we stuck them to the wall in our living room.

after our first midterm of the year, i was feeling a little bummed about my potential score. but then i remembered, on my goals, i had written down "no regrets". of course when i wrote it i intended it to apply to things such as: "i don't know if i should eat this biscotti...*long pause*...yeahhh no regrets!"
in this case though, i thought of it as "hey i did my best and that's all that matters"

so in light of that sentiment, i spent the rest of the day doing things that make me happy:

i was really in the mood to listen to feist. i had bought her most recent album, metals, at the end of last year and hadn't really listened to it in a while. her voice is just so soothing, who can resist it?

while on a meal plan last year we had the luxury to go to the school market and spend as much "money" as we pleased. along with hummus this was also a must

summer of 2009

while doing homework, the evening was spent singing along to blink-182 with a frieeeeaaand. i am a big fan of (the old) blink-182. their music takes me back to my wannabe "punk rock" phase. and while singing, it reminded me of the summer of 2009. for my birthday, one of my best friends and i went to vegas to see them at their first show of their "reunion" tour. the picture above is us on the plane there, getting ready to rock the city.

no regs!
