today was the first day of classes, and while we don't have a first-day picture like last fall, we have something better...
not only did we dress up, but we went out to dinner with friends! what else do you do on a monday during restaurant week?
enter pazo, a restaurant classy enough to pull off a dim candle-lit atmosphere, yet reasonable enough to give you bread on the house. our deal as part of restaurant week included three courses for $30, which would normally only cover the cost of a main course. I had soup (perfectly poured to each take up half the bowl, tricky), pork, and rollup cake-thing. and of course the BREAD with rosemary (?) olive oil. or was it olive olive oil? who knows, but it was fantastic and very much worth some walking in the cold!
