holiday happiness

finally back in my comfy non extra long twin sized bed, it has been great to just relax and not have to think of anything academic...yet (summer 2013 applications await me). i took an early morning flight back home and dove right in to the holiday spirit. 

1st step: sugar cookies

2nd step: decorating the tree

yes, you are right. there is no top to the tree (it is somewhere in the midst of our garage)

step 3: early christmas present

...and introducing my dad's thumb! 

step 4: movie theater

...the first of many movies that i will be seeing during the break. my mom had already seen it, but was happy to accompany me to see her man again (r-patz). despite some parts that were not in the book, i thought this was a good ending to the series. maybe because there was some real action in it, it didn't seem as cheesy as the other ones did. the ending was also nice, with a sort of wrap up of what had happened in the past four movies. other movies i will be seeing this break: skyfall, les mis, and hyde park on hudson.
