want to know a secret? i know who i want to spend the rest of my life with. or at least, who i want to spend the rest of my life listening to. he plays guitar like no one's business, sings with an edge that soothes and excites, and talks with an accent that weakens knees. :)

i'm talking about none other than the amazing ben howard. he's a british singer/songwriter of folk rock and great with guitar and deep lyrics. he is fantastic playing and singing solo, but india bourne (on cello) and chris bond (bass/perc.) make listening an unforgettable experience. i highly recommend their album, every kingdom.

he finally toured around the US earlier this year, and a true friend of mine called me during "only love" while seeing him in concert! it was the best 5 minutes of my life. you have to check them out. among my favorites (EVERY SONG) are the fear, further away, and under the same sun (with india! so gorgeous). and he has a sense of humor (video below).
