is saying 99% of the time. he and sean paul could have a contest in who has the worst diction… but somehow no one seems to care, because both artists' music is quite catchy.
luckily, we have a friend who's from the area, so his parents could take us. it felt like we were getting the royal treatment--they dropped us at the entrance. and afterward they picked us up--and gave us cheesecake!
once inside the venue, we did the requisite standing in line--first for t-shirts and then for the bathroom, before finding a good place on the lawn, preferably not behind a pole… too bad a few people decided to stand up in front of us when the headliner, bon iver, came on. they eventually got tired of standing… and we eventually got tired of sitting…
and cold… and limbs starting falling asleep. but no one cared, because we were listening to awesome music with some amazing people for company. what could be any better?
even if their set design was creepy and reminded me of a cave...
