and now, for the most thrilling part of our d.c. trip, the COLOR RUN! i feel like these photos best capture the day that we ran like crazy people into clouds of color.

though the four of us didn't quite stay together, we still had fun reveling in powdered color and the beautiful national harbor. we had no idea it was so close to downtown d.c. (a good thing, since we had to take a cab, and getting that cab is a story for another post...). it was soo cold while we waited for the start. we went in approximately the 25th wave of people. we had a long time to stand and admire all the color runners that dressed up!
