it is that time of the year where holidays come one right after another...starting with halloween. since freshman year, lauren and i have had our room decorated based on the holidays and the seasons and now that we have an apartment, this is no exception.
it all started with lauren going home for the weekend and coming back with this batch of goodies. and of course lauren channeled her awesome creativity and decorated the pumpkin with foam strips.

as a gift from a family friend, i received 2 plates with a skull and crossbones. they are a good size to put our baked goodies on...too bad the "poison" won't deter us from eating said goodies
when my mom came to visit last week she brought the three of us little ghosts to put around the apartment. (can't wait to see them light up!)
and of course, she knows how much we love to bake and bought us this set of halloween cake mix with frosting and sprinkles ...what is the junior version of the "freshman fifteen"?
and can you believe it, this is just the beginning of our fall/halloween decs!
