hampdenfest

yeah, i know, we look pretty epic (thanks to an awesome photographer, our very own hayley!). we are on our way to hampdenfest, a street festival that happens every year after labor day weekend. it was a great time to celebrate the end of the first week of classes with friends, food, and a funny vibe.
 

  
one of our favorite places to go in hampden is trohv, a chill store that sells home furnishings and funky things such as the butter paper featured below (so cute >.<)

although street festivals always make me feel sticky after only half an hour of standing, my favorite part is people watching and the food stands. below is my pad thai with abundant amounts of sprouts and hot sauce  (yummmm)

on our way back from the festival we saw a playground and channeling our inner children (and ignoring the problem sets and readings lying back at our apartments) we decided to take a quick stop...which ended up becoming a photo sesh of sorts

friends since freshman year <3

and take a look at those pretty ladies :) i just want to reiterate that i love them so much and am so stoked to spend the year living with them (...and blogging with them of course)
